We invite you, your family and friends to be our guest at the 14^th Annual Oktoberfest, Thursday through Sunday, September 22-25, 2011 in the heart of downtown Manteno, Illinois.

Thursday and Friday festivities kick off with an exciting midway of carnival rides.  Come and enjoy a wide variety of food items from our culinary vendors . . . from greek chicken pitas and stuffed baked potatoes to deep-fried snickers bars and chocolate-covered strawberries . . . we have a something for everyone!!

Other event highlights include:

Kankakee County’s premier lighted parade with over 100 entries including the Great Lakes Naval Band, Olivet Nazarene University Marching Tigers, Manteno’s Citizens of the Year and many spectacular lighted floats.

Oktoberfest’s original Pet Parade . . . You never know what you’ll see here . . . In the past, we’ve had ponies, llamas, snakes and dogs of all breeds.

Musical Entertainment on this year’s  Main Stage includes, “Final Say”, “Badd Habit”, as well as “All Star Music Machine.”

Oktoberfest’s Family Stage features Guitar Hero and Just Dance Contests; A Showcase of Bands; Strongman performance; and the Six String Showdown competition.
