The Manteno Chamber of Commerce donated $4000.00 to the Village of Manteno for the expansion of the Farmer’s Market. Lisa Price, Executive Director of the Manteno Chamber of Commerce, states that “The Chamber is donating to the Farmer’s Market expansion to bring more of an interest to our Main Street businesses, as well as to our entire community. We are pleased to be able to continue the Chamber’s vision of giving back to the community in this way. As a Chamber, we are always looking on how we can grow business, as well as give back to the community.” The Farmer’s Market begins in July and runs through October. This year, the Market will be held on Main Street in the new gazebo. Shown in the photo about are Farmer’s Market Coordinator, Merle Marxsman; Chamber Director, Patrick J.
